　　On November 1, 2016, Wu Kunhong, Vice President of the Operator Network Supply Chain and Supply Chain Management Department at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., along with Yang Ziyu, Director of the Component Procurement Certification Department and Head of Procurement Certification Management, visited our company. They held a meeting to discuss our company's qualification as a Huawei-approved supplier and explore potential future collaboration opportunities. Attendees from our side included Chairman Zheng Xuejian, General Manager Ye Chunzhi, Marketing Director Cao Jian, Operations Director Ye Jianchuan, Assistant to the General Manager Wu Jing, Quality Control Center Manager Wang Bingwen, Marketing Manager for Southwest China Li Jian, and Huawei Business Unit Sales Manager Min Digeng.

　　At the start of the meeting, Chairman Zheng Xuejian warmly welcomed the Huawei leaders in attendance. This year marks HanZhou Electric’s 30th anniversary since its establishment. Over the past three decades, HanZhou has remained committed to becoming a leading manufacturer of professional, high-end electrical complete equipment. We’ve dedicated our full focus to the research, development, and manufacturing of electrical systems that deliver exceptional safety and reliability. Our products have earned recognition for their consistent quality, timely delivery, and outstanding customer service—qualities that have made us a trusted partner on major projects such as Beijing Metro, Shenzhen Metro, Chengdu Metro, CCTV, and the Xichang Satellite Launch Center.

　　Chairman Zheng Xuejian expressed gratitude, noting that Huawei's supplier audit process has provided the company with a valuable opportunity for transformation. Through this rigorous assessment, the company has optimized its organizational structure, enabling more professional and standardized management. As a result, significant breakthroughs and substantial progress have been made across multiple areas—including quality and environmental systems, production processes and R&D, CSR initiatives, and information management security—laying a solid foundation for the enterprise’s sustainable growth and development.

　　Next, Marketing Director Cao Jian presented an overview of HanZhou Electric’s core business and highlighted the company’s collaborative journey with Huawei. Since 2014, our firm has been entrusted with the R&D and design of Huawei’s Nigeria E3 metering cabinets, successfully developing advanced high- and low-voltage smart metering cabinets rated at 33kV, 11kV, and 0.4kV. Additionally, we supplied Huawei’s Energy Base IDC project with key products such as high- and low-voltage switchgear, row distribution units, and DC cabinets, helping the company expand its presence in both domestic and international markets.

　　Through nearly two years of project collaboration with Huawei—and the qualified supplier evaluation process—the company has achieved significant progress in "Three Transformations and One Stability."

　　1. Through the company’s organizational restructuring, we have strengthened the functional roles of the Human Resources Department and the Project Management Center. Additionally, the organizational functions of the Quality Control Center have been refined, resulting in a more streamlined structure, clearer and more defined departmental responsibilities, and more professional management.

　　2. We’ve increased investment in production operation automation for Huawei projects by introducing advanced equipment such as welding robots, bending robots, and turret-type CNC punch presses, enabling specialized upgrades to the production line and significantly enhancing operational efficiency as well as product quality stability.

　　3. Our office OA system has been operational since October this year, and the finished product barcode system was launched at the end of June, making our process management more standardized and efficient.

　　4. Through previous audit efforts, multiple communication channels between employees and senior company management have been established, and employment management practices have been further refined.

　　5. A new hazardous chemicals warehouse has been built, and improvements such as enhanced wastewater discharge monitoring have been implemented, significantly reducing the company’s safety and environmental risks.

　　Huawei Technologies Minister Yang presented an overview of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., a Fortune Global 500 company currently ranked 129th. Huawei’s products and solutions are already deployed in more than 170 countries worldwide, and the company employs 176,000 people, with R&D personnel accounting for 42% of the workforce. He also provided insights into the collaboration between the two parties and explained Huawei’s supplier model.

　　1. We commend HanZhou Electric for its outstanding product quality and express our appreciation for the company’s advanced automation equipment and robust process control standards. HanZhou has already become a qualified supplier for Huawei, but this partnership marks just the beginning of our collaboration. Moving forward, HanZhou needs to further enhance both the stability of its product quality and the timeliness of its deliveries.

　　2. Huawei’s procurement process adheres to the principles of fairness and transparency, employing a mechanism of "joint innovation and shared benefits." We implement a procurement strategy that prioritizes quality, ensuring "quality first, with premium quality commanding premium pricing," while also incentivizing suppliers who consistently deliver stable quality and timely shipments.

　　3. An explanation was given regarding the procurement coordination between both parties: distribution products interface with the Energy Infrastructure Procurement Certification Department, while metering box products and accessories interface with the Procurement Certification Department for supporting components.

　　4. Plans have been made for Huawei's 17-year collaboration with Hanzhou Electric, with anticipated procurement totaling around 30 million yuan.

　　Following this, Huawei’s General Manager Wu gained a thorough understanding of HanZhou Electric’s performance, quality assurance system, quality standards, equipment capabilities, product delivery processes, and after-sales services—and expressed his expectations for future collaboration between the two companies.

　　After the meeting, Huawei’s General Managers Wu and Yang toured our company’s production lines—including those for component manufacturing, surface treatment, busbar fabrication, high- and low-voltage switchgear assembly, and final testing—accompanied by our General Managers Ye and Cao, among others.

　　This exchange marks the successful implementation of our partnership, solidifying our company as a qualified supplier for Huawei. We are determined to unite the collective strength of the entire organization, humbly learning from and drawing inspiration from Huawei’s advanced management practices—working together with unwavering determination to drive growth and build a brighter future for HanZhou.
