Summary: GB/T 28001-2011, "Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems — Requirements," was officially released on December 30, 2011, by the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People’s Republic of China and the China National Standardization Administration Committee, with implementation scheduled to begin on February 1, 2012. This standard replaces the previous version, GB/T 28001-2001, "Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems — Specification."
